We were thought the basics at first of course. How to hold it, how to stand and how to use the bow. We were also told that we are going to perform an ensemble by the end of the term which is an ambitious target because most of us have no clue on how to play the violin. I managed to do pretty well, there are a lot of things that I need to work on. Hopefully I can borrow the school's violin and practice more at home.
To conclude today's activity, I have learnt the basics of violin playing but not necessarily doing it well already. I still need to practice a lot and I am very much looking forward to it.
